The spur left the Bury to Rochdale line just after the M66 headed across the fields until it came to the first bridge across Heap Brow. Left - what's left of the bridge across Heap Brow. Below Left - looking towards Bury. Below - looking towards the goods shed. |

Left - the odd engine shed / goods stations on Bury New road. Now a tile shop. Below Left - Looking down Bury New road towards Bury. On the left was Yates Duxbury mill No1 now a oil firm and petrol station, and on the right was Yates Duxbury mill No 2. Both these mills where served by the railway. Below - top of the bridge looking away from the engine shed. |
